Ok people, I had this idea about the time of Bus Types in 2006 of trying to get together a group of like minded, fun loving individuals and couples who enjoyed the VW scene, camping, surfing, etc,etc that lived in the Crewe and Nantwich (Cheshire) area.
As there didn't appear to be a local club I felt that having seen numerous campers and beetles in the area, travelling around or being worked on in driveways it was time to embark on a journey to get one going!!!!!

So armed with my very basic IT knowledge and a club name chosen by a colleague at work (yes John, I know it was you). Here we have it, the very first website for;

CREWE & NANTWICH BUGS, BUSSES & CAMPERS

I even came up with a slogan.....

Die Leidenschaftlichen.......

Ok, so it's not quite the same as "Der Kleiner Panzers" but don't forget we are............

The Passionate Ones!!!!!

The club is about to embark on it's 6th year and I am pleased to say we have a good base of members who we can now call friends that range through all ages!!! Our monthly meet takes place on the FIRST Tuesday of each month details of which can be found below. Here we can all get to know each other, pass on tips and hints (I'm sure half of us spend more time thinking about something when the guy with the camper down the road did the same thing is 5 minutes the weekend before!!!!!!) and organise local cruises, trips to VDub events and weekend camping trips.

So if we have wetted your appetite, e-mail us using the address below and we will keep you up to date with our developments.

Happy Dubbing!!!!!!!

Monthly Meeting

The monthly meet is currently held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at Coconut Grove @ The Cheshire Cheese 332 Crewe Road, Shavington, Cheshire CW2 5AF (see map below). We usually meet up at around 7 pm throughout the summer months and 7:30pm during the winter months - but there is normally somebody still around at last orders too. We never have a fixed agenda or pompus "holding court" sessions but over the last couple of years if something has needed to be said we have always managed to get it across and have always backed it up with e-mail/forum/website updates so even those that were unable to attend the meeting are kept in touch with all events.  AJ at The Cheshire Cheese looks forward to our meets and has put aside an area for us. Please get your drinks at the bar and just ask where our area is and the staff will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. Of course if you want to enjoy the food in the the restaurant and come and socialise a little later then that is cool too......The choice they say is yours!!!!

Interested?????? (and we hope you are)..............either come along to a meeting, post up on the forum , visit us on Facebook or just send us an e-mail
